Bu Fei San is a classical formula for chronic cough and asthma. For horses, we use this formula for horses that have chronic heaves and have respiratory problems, exercise intolerance and/or cough year round. For horses with summer pasture-associated heaves, or respiratory issues that are associated to seasonal tiggers (prescribed burning, pollen, ect) see Schisandra 5.
Bu Fei San can also be used for dogs in association with conventional therapy for bronchitis and/or pneumonia.
